The new 2012 Crosstour is a wagon edition of the well-known mid-size luxury sedan. It was formerly called as Accord Crosstour.

It is the best choice for all fans of Accord who are looking for even more cargo space, and interior comfort. Cargo space has been increased quite considerably in the new Crosstour, and it offers nearly 25.7 cubic-feet with the rear passenger-seats up, while a whopping 51.3 cubic-feet with folded rear-seats.

Similar to its sibling, it has the capability to seat a maximum of 5-passengers comfortably. It has come equipped with 2-sets of subordinate Latch anchors in the external rear-seats. The high-back latest booster seat can be easily installed in the new 2012 Crosstour.

Both the frontward and backend facing convertible seats fit really well with this new vehicle. On the whole, the interior cabin seating arrangement of the Crosstour 2012 is much better than its sibling, the Accord sedan.

A recent research has positioned the well-known Japanese automaker, Honda Motors at the top of the list of the present generation heavy-duty vehicles when it comes to potholes.

A recent study conducted by Warranty Direct clearly suggested that there is an average of only 6-percent probability that any car will maintain damage from such rough road surfaces.

As reported, Honda models were recognized to be the least likely to suffer like this. Suppose, if the owners decide to sell a car for cash, then certainly damage caused by potholes could be a problem as it could lower the value of the vehicle; so this is something every carmaker should consider seriously.

According to some latest news, in two-three years time, the Japanese carmaker is planning to introduce dual-clutch gearbox and standard turbo-charging units in its petrol engine line-up.

The once striking VTEC engine has been transferred into i-VTEC engine, and it can be seen equipped in most of the Honda cars that are available in the present market.

The direct injection technology is most likely to be incorporated with the upcoming 2012 petrol engine models, but the consumers may have to wait for another 1 to 2 years to get turbo-charging engine units in their vehicles.

Civic GX is a factory-built passenger car, which operates using compressed natural gas (CNG). It has been developed based on Civic design platform, and it is made for fleet sale in more than 50 states in the United States.

In the following sections, we will provide more details pertaining to this model, take a look.

Brief History

It first appeared way back in 1998 as a completely revised version of Civic LX model, which could be run wholly on CNG. It was released with a compellingly low price tag of just around $4500. In 2001, EPA awarded it as the cleanest burning internal combustion vehicle in the world.

Then in 2006, it had gone through the greatest alteration since its origin, and as a result all models variants of that year were honoured with the best 2006 Motor Trend ‘Car of the Year’ award.

Power-Train Specifications

Initially, it was equipped with a standard 1.6-liter inline 4-cylinder engine that had the ability to pump out decent performance stats. Then in 2001, it was upgraded with a standard 1.7-liter engine, and a standard 1.8-L 4-cylinder engine was added in 2006 during which the model was fully revised.

2011 GX has come equipped with the same 1.8-liter 4-cylinder engine, which has the capability to churn out a maximum of 113 horsepower by running entirely on compressed fuel gas.

Pricing

The most recent GX 2011 has been released with a base MSRP of $25,490.

Civic Si is an exotic compact sports vehicle produced from the house of the Japanese automaker, Honda since 1984. The company used the Si badge for the first time to name its JDM 3rd gen Civic in 1984.

The term Si stands for Sports Injected or Sequential Injection, and it was developed for the 3rd gen of Civics mainly in North America and Japan, while in Canada it was known as SiR for the 6th and 7th gen Civics.

The company offered the Si sedan models in North America for the first time in 2007, and before its market was restricted only to Japan. It came featuring larger 18-inch alloy wheels along with hefty cross-drilled brake rotors and four-piston Brembo brakes.

The sedan edition had come with almost identical mechanical specs in comparison to its coupe version, producing the same performance stats.

Here’s a cool collection of Honda Civic Si sedan pictures in the below gallery, take a look.
