Dual-Clutch Gearboxes and Turbo-Charging to Usher in Honda’s Petrol Engine Line-up

From beginning, Honda Motors is well known as an automaker that pioneered new technologies into the auto world.

According to some latest news, in two-three years time, the Japanese carmaker is planning to introduce dual-clutch gearbox and standard turbo-charging units in its petrol engine line-up.

The once striking VTEC engine has been transferred into i-VTEC engine, and it can be seen equipped in most of the Honda cars that are available in the present market.

The direct injection technology is most likely to be incorporated with the upcoming 2012 petrol engine models, but the consumers may have to wait for another 1 to 2 years to get turbo-charging engine units in their vehicles.
